In order to deliver quality results - and quickly - each Catalyst Partners Consultant works on few searches at a given time.  This ensures that a search receives the attention it deserves.  We take the time to understand our client's organization, from the values and culture to the long-term objectives.  We meet with superiors, subordinates, and peers to fully understand the organization, and then prescreen potential candidates to determine their suitability.

It is standard in the Search Industry to keep clients “off-limits” for all recruiting purposes.  This client “off-limits” philosophy has restricted larger firms from recruiting the right candidates for their numerous clients. Being small and limiting the number of searches we conduct at a time means that we can recruit from a greater universe of talented candidates. The result: A broader slate of qualified candidates in a shorter period of time.

We reference all candidates, and verify their education, before they are presented to our clients.  This step is time consuming yet, we know from experience, it is time well spent; it ensures our clients only see exceptional candidates.  After a candidate has been interviewed, and there is interest in making an offer, we will conduct an extensive 360 degree referencing process, confidentially contacting many supervisors, peers, and subordinates.

The key to any successful search is open, honest communication.  Frequent conversations, personal visits, and ongoing summary reports detailing the progress of the search are some ways we over-communicate with our clients.  Most important, we listen.  We are skilled practitioners of the neglected art of active listening.

We structure our fees so that they are tied to how we perform for our clients. Payments are tied to actual deliverables.  Our fees make sense for our client's business, their budget, and their recruiting objectives.   This model offers the advantages of retained search (thoroughness, professionalism, and service) and contingency search (speed, industry specialization, and pay-for-performance), without the liabilities of each.   

Background Checks

Catalyst offers a variety of background checks including criminal, education verification, employment verification, professional licenses and certifications.  Upon obtaining candidate approval these checks are performed by a specialty firm in a confidential and professional manner. 

Our One Year Guarantee       

We believe in the quality of our work and stand behind it with an unusual unconditional guarantee.  If the employment of a Catalyst Partners candidate ends (voluntarily or involuntarily) within one year of the hiring date, we will, at the client's option, re-conduct the search for no additional professional fees.
